andi24 Absoluter Killer.Klasse Album mit dem urtypischen Bodyfarm Sound und abwechslungsreichen Songs. Es sind auch, wie im Vorgänger Album, immer wieder richtig gute schwarz angehauchte Momente mit geilen Melodien eingebaut, wie z.B. bei Symbolical Warfare. Rausstechen tut der Death'n'roll Song The Wicked Red, der von Entombeds Wolverine Blues stammen könnte, und die Death Doom Walze The Swamp. Aber auch bei den restlichen Songs des Albums herrscht absoluter Mosh Pit Alarm. No Filler All Killer 🤘🍻🤘

mourner They found the perfect balance between crushing heavyness and aggressive speed with their death metal. Their brand of dm is very aware of the genres tradition and delivers a contemporary take on it. Full of groove and with a production that will probably blow your speakers (or your ears). Phantastic album. Favorite track: The Swamp.

Now with the arrival of their 5th album to date, Bodyfarm are poised to assert, once and for all, their domination over the death metal scene. The arrangements for the upcoming album were mostly written by founding guitarist Bram Hilhorst and bassist-turned-fellow-guitarist Alex Seegers, with the lyrics written by vocalist/bassist Ralph de Boer and drums by new arrival David Schermann. Naturally, every member contributed his own part to Ultimate Abomination, keeping the album fresh yet firmly within the core Bodyfarm sound. The result sees a surprising infusion of catchiness and The Groove: be it galloping like the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, stomping slowly across the skulls of enemies, or rolling forward across the battlefield called life, Ultimate Abomination is a death metal maniac’s wet dream.
